This beauty has been out of production for several years but fortunately we had seed on hand when it was dropped and we’ve been selecting and saving seed since that time. The coloring ranges from the palest peach to almost orange depending on the climate and maturity. In our soil and climate the stems are usually around 3’. Often the heads produce few to no seeds which is not ideal when you’re wanting to save seed but is a wonderful trait for cut flower production. Delayed seed production allows the heads a longer time to mature in the field enabling larger heads and deeper coloring. Because of such low seed production and in order to justify the space to grow out this seed we’ve have had to raise our prices on it this year. We hope you treasure this beauty as much as we do!
